Fine Arts & Crafts Festival » A Taste of the Town



Tickets  on sale SOON  for our 8th Annual “Taste of” Event  scheduled for Thursday, September 20, 2018 from 6:30 – 9:30 p.m., in the beautiful Duke Gallery at Community Arts Center!

The Friends of the Festival Event, A Taste of the Town, celebrates the local culinary arts and benefits the 16th Annual Fine Arts and Crafts Festival and non-profit Community Arts Center.

Guests can enjoy an open bar, live music, plus sample delicious food from all the best restaurants from towns surrounding the Arts Center! 

At the end of the night, guests can vote on their favorite foods and help one lucky winner take home the title of Best of the Fest!

2017’s participating restaurants included:  

Aria Mediterranean Cuisine, Ariano, Broad Table Tavern at the Inn at Swarthmore, Burlap and Bean West End Roast HouseHobbs, The Icery, Jeffrey Miller Catering, Margaret Kuo’s Media, Scooped Ice Cream, Shere-e-Punjab, Swarthmore Co-Op, Swarthmore Pizza, Victory Brewing Company, and Yia It’s All Greek to Me!  

Winners of 2016’s Taste of the Town were Swarthmore’s Broad Table Tavern (1st) and Hobbs (2nd).

CAC staff enjoyed a great night of food and music in support of the Fine Arts and Crafts Festival.

Lotus Farm to Table served Tequila Marinated Shrimp with Cilantro Powder and Compressed Canary Melon.

Jeffrey Miller Catering served Tiramisu and Banana Chocolate Bread Pudding with creme englaise.
